Details of the comments received from industry in relation to the second consultation on the Regulated Activities Order and Exemption Regulations were published on Monday.
In addition, the Financial Supervision Commission announced that it has published for information the entire Financial Services Rule Book, including the provision for Anti-money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (Part 9), together with details of those amendments which have been made as the individual parts have been brought together into one Rule Book.
The Rule Book also includes Interpretation at Schedule 1.1, according to the Commission.
As this part of the Rule Book has not been consulted upon previously, any comments on this Schedule would be welcome, it added.
However, as the definitions contained in the Schedule are, in the main, the current definitions, and any new or amended definitions have been highlighted in the RoadMap which accompanies the Rule Book, the consultation period will be short.
The FSC therefore concluded by announcing that:
"The Commission would be grateful if any comments on the definitions could be submitted before 6th May 2008.
