InvestHedge Launches Fund Of Funds Directory

London-based hedge fund information publisher Hedge Fund Intelligence has launched a new suite of data products designed to provide transparency to the rapidly expanding fund of hedge funds community. The InvestHedge Directory includes 800 funds of funds managing more than $250 billion of assets invested in global hedge funds, and the index provides median returns each month for nine major categories.

The InvestHedge Directory, which is a subscription product costing US$3,900 annually, and is updated regularly throughout the month. InvestHedge says it is currently adding around 25 new funds of funds every month.

The InvestHedge Directory is fully searchable by:

• Fund name, alphabetically;
• Region of investment (Asia and emerging markets, Europe, or USA);
• Category (global multi-strategy, arbitrage, global equity, etc.);
• Geographic location of manager, or
• Asset size (by group or fund).

InvestHedge is best known for its newsletter which it says 'provides subscribers with the 'inside track' on developments within the investment community'. The publication also provides monthly performance data on nearly 600 fund of funds. The cost is US$900 per annum.
