International Bar Association To Hold Tax Conference In Dublin

07 April 2003

The International Bar Association's Taxes Committee is to hold a two day conference on the best locations for holding companies in Dublin this week.

The conference, which is taking place on April 10 and 11, will hear 30 presentations from up-and-coming legal professionals from many of the major international law firms, and delegates will be asked to vote on the best holding company locations from a tax perspective at the end of the two days.

According to Caroline Renton, IBA's Conference Marketing Executive:

'The conference will be of interest to all lawyers, accountants and anyone who is involved in taxation. There will be ample time for non-speaking delegates to question speakers, participate in discussions and network with the many tax specialists who are expected to attend.'

The International Bar Association, based in London, is a dual membership organisation, comprising 16,000 individual lawyers and 160 bar associations and law societies.
