India and Mexico are close to completing a double taxation treaty which it is hoped will boost bilateral trade and investment.
The announcement was made earlier this month by Mexican Ambassador in India Julio Faesler Carlisle during an interactive session with members of the Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BNCCI).
Mr Carlisle hailed the “historic” development, and revealed that the final documents are expected to be signed by senior government figures from both nations within the next two months.
