The Internal Revenue Service announced last week the selection of five new members to serve on the Electronic Tax Administration and Advisory Committee (ETAAC) which serves as a public discussion forum on issues of electronic tax administration and seeks to promote increased interaction between the agency and the taxpayer by electronic means.
In a recent statement, the Revenue explained that the group is comprised of 14 members, including the five outgoing members. The addition of the five new members will ensure continuity when the terms of the current members end the IRS added. The new members are:
