The 128th Annual Meeting of the International Trademark Association (INTA) was launched at the weekend, and will go on until today.
The meeting, which is the largest gathering of trademark professionals in the world, will, over its five day course, bring together more than 7,000 trademark professionals from more than 130 countries.
“Our theme reflects the 21st century reality that trademark protection is increasingly a global challenge,” explained 2006 INTA President Paul Reidl ahead of the meeting.
This year’s theme of "Cross-Border Trademark Issues" gives attendees a chance to explore a myriad international trademark issues from a variety of perspectives, touching on the importance of protection and enforcement around the world.
