Speaking to the Interfax news agency on Tuesday, first deputy Finance Minister, Sergei Shatalov revealed that a delegation of IMF experts is set to arrive in Moscow today to complete an analysis of the pace and results of tax reforms enacted by the Russian government.
Mr Shatalov announced that the group, headed by IMF tax department deputy chief, Emil Sunley, will meet with representatives from the Finance and Tax Ministries during its week-long visit.
However, detail on the conclusions reached by the IMF team is not expected immediately:
'We plan to receive a preliminary report at the end of the visit, but the final report will appear a little later,' Mr Shatalov explained.
