Speaking in Copenhagen on Tuesday, Hong Kong's Director-General of Investment Promotion, Mike Rowse stated that Hong Kong and Dongguan are a winning combination for Danish companies wanting to expand to the Mainland.
Mr Rowse told those attending a seminar promoting the two locations to the Danish business community that companies can benefit from establishing a business presence in the world-class financial, logistics and service centre of Hong Kong, and locate their manufacturing plant in Dongguan, which offers first-rate and cost-effective production.
The seminar was the seventh joint initiative overseas by the two cities to promote investment in the Greater Pearl River Delta. It attracted 250 business executives.
"The favourable response from the Danish business community is very encouraging for our investment promotion efforts in northern Europe," Mr Rowse observed, continuing: "Our department will actively follow up with the companies and facilitate their future investment in our region."
