It emerged this week that the SAR's Support and Consultation Centre for Small and Medium Enterprises will hold a seminar on the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Bill on October 19, briefing entrepreneurs on how the new regulation will affect their business.

The bill will set new ground rules for the sending of uninvited commercial electronic messages.

Office of the Telecommunications Authority (OFTA) Head of Information & Communications Technologies, Henry Chang will join Radica Systems eMarketing Consultant, Leo Lau to explain the bill's details and implementation timetable. They will also advise business owners on the preparations for the impact or changes arising from the bill, particularly in e-Marketing.
