It emerged recently that financial service provider, HSBC has decided to combine its offshore fund and life insurance operations, in order to allow it to offer an enhanced service, and to deal with customers more efficiently.
The new division will be known as HSBC Offshore Global Funds and Insurance, and will replace the old HSBC Offshore and HSBC Life (Europe) brands, although HSBC Offshore will continue to operate from Jersey and the RoI.
According to reports, HSBC Offshore Global Funds and Insurance intends to offer customers a wide range of investment funds and insurance-linked income and investment solutions.
