HSBC Offshore has announced the recruitment of three new senior managers to its team in Jersey.
Daniel Massey, Mark Taylor and Ian Pryor have taken up new positions at HSBC Group’s offshore operation, which specialises in services for people living and working abroad.
Daniel Massey has been made Head of Global Funds and Insurance (GFI), having spent the last three years working in Hong Kong as HSBC’s senior vice-president and head of sales and relationship management in the custody and clearing department.
He joined HSBC ten years ago, and has worked in a number of countries and roles, including spells in credit control, sales management and operations. He is now responsible for leading the team in the manufacture and distribution of funds.
Ian Pryor has been appointed as Senior Manager, Banking Services, with responsibility for the provision of high quality operational services to HSBC Offshore’s customers and internal departments.
He started with Midland Bank in 1982 and was most recently the manager of one of the bank’s largest operations centres, based near Bristol. Prior to that, he spent seven years in Jersey as Operations Manager for HSBC Offshore.
Recently appointed Area Compliance Officer Mark Taylor joined the HSBC Group in 1993. He was posted to Hong Kong where he held many senior positions, including Deputy Secretary and Senior Manager, Compliance.
