A new e-commerce collaboration between Hongkong Post and Korea Post will offer customers a wide selection of popular products and e-merchants, and more cost-effective promotion and delivery in Hong Kong and Korea, it has been announced.
Speaking at the memorandum of understanding signing ceremony on February 19, Acting Postmaster General YF Chan said Hong Kong has seen strong growth of outward mail traffic generated by Internet trade.
"We strongly believe that postal administrations should collaborate more closely to grasp the business opportunities of this blooming Internet trade and counteract the potential negative impact of the latest economic turmoil," he added.
Mr Chan said collaboration with other postal administrations on e-commerce is underway.
