It emerged on Friday that GuernseyFinance is sponsoring April’s inaugural London conference of the Guernsey Association of Trustees (GAT).
The ‘Guernsey Fiduciary Forum 2007’ will be held at the Institute of Directors on Wednesday 25 April.
“We are delighted to be associated with this event,” announced Peter Niven, Chief Executive of GuernseyFinance, which is the promotional agency for the island’s finance industry.
He continued:
“The quality of Guernsey’s fiduciary sector continues to gain recognition around the world and the Guernsey Fiduciary Forum will provide a further opportunity to showcase the latest developments and new products and services that Guernsey trust companies can offer their clients.”
The Guernsey Fiduciary Forum programme will encompass topics such as Purpose Trusts, Private Trust Companies and Cellular Structures for Families (PCCs and ICCs).
The conference chairman and keynote speaker is Anthony Thornhill QC, Head of Pump Court Tax Chambers, who is particularly strong in corporate restructuring, inheritance tax/capital gains tax planning and employee remuneration.
The Guernsey Fiduciary Forum is targeted at UK trust practitioners, intermediaries and advisors.
