Grenadian Finance Minister, Anthony Boatswain delivered a tax-free budget on Friday, according to reports in the regional media.
A government statement issued prior to the delivery of the budget stated that the Finance Minister's aims were 'stimulating economic growth, promoting investments and human development'.
Elaborating on plans to generate greater economic activity and to boost employment, the statement announced that: 'These include promoting investments in the productive sectors with specific emphasis on agriculture and agro-processing, tourism and manufacturing.'
Mr Boatswain did not introduce any new taxes during Friday's budget presentation, according to the CMC news agency.
