Grenada Property Tax Deadline Approaches

by Mike Godfrey, Tax-News.com, Washington

18 August 2016

Grenada's Inland Revenue Division has reminded property owners that the last day on which property tax can be paid without incurring a penalty of 20 percent is August 29th, 2016.

If the tax remains unpaid after the due date, in addition to the penalty, interest will be charged on the outstanding balance at a rate of 1.5 percent from September 1 and every month thereafter, until the balance is paid.

Taxpayers are encouraged to pay their taxes online through the Ministry of Finance's online portal. The property tax can also be paid at the District Revenue Offices located in each parish.
