Following Global Crossing's emergence from debt restructuring last month, it has appointed a new European general counsel, the telecommunications firm revealed.
In-house lawyer, Bernard Keogh has been appointed to the role, succeeding Terry Dugan, who has moved to the United States to become deputy general counsel of the Global Crossing Group.
Speaking following his assumption of the Dublin-based position, which gives him overall responsibility for the firm's legal activities in Europe, Mr Keogh explained that:
"The changes show we are aligning ourselves for post-emergence from the Chapter 11 world."
