The German finance ministry has recently announced publication of its new updated A to Z tax guide for taxpayers in Germany (“Steuern von A bis Z”), which, it underlines, provides useful and relevant information for both businesses and individuals.
According to the ministry, the publication provides an overview of the various different types of taxes in Germany and contains numerous definitions, as well as answering key questions for taxpayers.
The text also provides an insight into the structure, administration and jurisdiction of tax in Germany, as well as an insight into the historical origins of taxes and levies, and their legal foundations.
The brochure is available for download from the ministry's website.
