Germany And Oman To Consider Double Taxation Pact

The ninth session of the Omani-German joint committee is to discuss the potential of a double taxation agreement between the two nations, it emerged earlier this week.

The delegations will also convene to explore ways in which investment between the two sides can be fostered and protected.

The German delegation to Oman comprised 50 representatives across many different economic sectors and was headed by the director-general of foreign economic policy, part of the German Economic Ministry.

Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidi, commerce undersecretary at the Commerce and Industry Ministry, headed the Omani delegation.
