Friends Provident International (FPI) has widened access to five of its top performing funds, giving investors a greater choice of investment across its Guernsey product range.
The decision means that FPI’s Investec Cautious Managed, Investec UK Equity, ISIS Monthly Distribution Fund, ISIS UK Property and ISIS High Yield Bond will now be accessible through the firm’s Guernsey-based products. Previously, these funds were only available via the multi currency version of the International Investment Bond.
Launched in September 2003, these funds are invested in underlying funds that have all outperformed their benchmarks. Furthermore, these FPI funds give investors the opportunity to diversify their portfolio beyond the existing range of funds and take advantage of the fund management expertise of both Investec and ISIS.
The five additional funds can now be accessed via both current Guernsey-based products and those that are no longer open to new business. This means that all policyholders existing and new will be able to switch or select from the new range of funds.
“We’re very pleased to be able to offer our clients this improved range of funds", comments Adrian Nurse, Director of International Operations at Friends Provident International.
“At FPI we understand the importance to our clients of diversification in their investments. With this in mind, we are continually striving to provide investors with a greater choice when selecting their portfolio,” Mr Nurse added.
