Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) collected PKR989bn (USD12bn) during the first 11 months of the current fiscal year, showing an increase of 15.5% over the corresponding period of previous year.
According to the provisional figures, the FBR has collected PKR89bn (USD1.1bn) during the month of May 2009.
Aggregate collection up to May 2009 thus works out to PKR989bn (USD12bn) against the PKR856bn (USD10bn) collected during the corresponding period of the year prior.
