Enterprise Capital Management, which helped pioneer the concept of allowing retail investors access to leading institutional investment money managers for different investment styles and sectors in the US, announced on Monday that it has launched a new offshore fund group.
Enterprise Global Funds plc is domiciled in Dublin, and will provide investment management for fund distribution in Europe, South America and Asia. The company will initially offer eight funds, focussing on different sectors and styles, and including such diverse offerings as: the Enterprise Small Company Value Portfolio, the Enterprise Equity Portfolio, the Enterprise Global Health Care Portfolio, and the Enterprise Global Socially Responsive Portfolio. The funds will be available to investors in US dollars, euros and UK pounds. However, the company says that the Global Fund offerings will not be available for distribution in the United States, or to US citizens or residents.
The Chairman of Enterprise Capital Management, Victor Ugolyn, believes that the move is a immensely positive step, which will be of benefit to non-US investors: 'Enterprise Capital Management, Inc. has provided US investors special access to leading institutional money managers through The Enterprise Group of Funds,' he said earlier this week. 'We are now pleased to offer non-US investors similar access to our leading managers through Enterprise Global Funds plc.'
The Enterprise Group of Funds and Enterprise Accumulation Trust currently has over $8 billion in assets under management.
