It has been announced that Egypt is preparing for its fourth generation of tax returns.
Mr Ashraf Al Arabi, head of the country's tax authority announced the news on November 20, assuring that the fourth generation tax returns were being prepared for distribution in good time for the start of the filing season.
Mr Al Arabi went on to explain that the new forms will contain significant changes.
The alterations were made in line with amendments to Law 91, 2005. The new forms also reflect the cancellation of some exemptions, such as the exemption of schools, private universities, treasury bills and treasury bonds.
