The European Union is expected to conclude an agreement within the next two months that will grant tax exemptions on goods imported from the Middle Eastern states of Israel and Jordan.
The announcement was made on Tuesday (October 21) at an economic meeting between representatives from Israel and Jordan which was attended by the Head of Delegation of the European Commission to Israel, Giancarlo Chevalliard.
The meeting, which was convened by the Israel-Jordan Chamber of Commerce, was attended by around 200 business people from both nations, in addition to investors from South East Asia.
