Dubai is this week playing host to the Hedge Funds World Middle East 2003 conference, attended by more than 200 delegates according to reports in the regional media.
The two-day conference launched on Tuesday, and is sponsored by Man Investment Products, American Express, Alexandra Investment Management, and Bank of Bermuda Global Fund Services. It covers topics such as global hedge fund opportunities, risk management for investors, capacity and fund manager selection, and hedge fund styles, strategies and products.
Speaking in the run up to the conference, Antoine Massad, chairman of Hedge Funds World Middle East announced that:
'Last year was another good one for the hedge funds industry as a whole and an excellent one for Man Investment Products. The conference forms an excellent platform for the industry.'
