Deutsche Bank announced on Tuesday that it is one of the partners of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) at the Careers UAE 2008 fair being held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre between 15th-17th April.
At the fair, Deutsche Bank is hosting a stand within the DIFC's dedicated pavilion to showcase the range of investment banking, asset management and private wealth management opportunities available.
The rapid growth of the DIFC since its launch in 2004 has led to a shortage of talent within the region as major international financial services companies expand their operations.
The Careers UAE 2008 fair is designed to strengthen the talent pipeline by inspiring UAE nationals and giving them the knowledge to enter valuable and long-term careers in financial services.
Ricardo Honegger, Chief Country Officer for the UAE at Deutsche Bank commented ahead of the Tuesday launch that:
"We are very pleased to partner with the DIFC for this important event, Deutsche Bank is focused on hiring the most intelligent, talented and highly qualified individuals from the UAE, and to contributing time and resources to building a unique talent here."
Nasser AlShaali, CEO of DIFC authority, added: "We welcome the support and commitment of Deutsche Bank as a partner at the Career UAE 2008 event. The DIFC, along with all of its partners, are dedicated to enhancing employment opportunities within the region and ensuring that the best local talent reaches its potential and contributes to the future of the economy."
