Deutsche Bank Cayman Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Deutsche Bank (Cayman) announced on Monday that it has appointed Tanya Campbell as the new Chief Operating Officer with its Cayman arm.

In her new role, Ms Campbell will manage all aspects of the Bank’s Cayman office operations and infrastructure, with specific responsibility for Private Wealth Management operations.

She will form part of the Offshore Group COO team headed up by Andreas Tautscher, Deutsche Bank further revealed.

Ms Campbell has in-depth knowledge of the local banking market, having worked in the financial services industry in the Cayman Islands for eight years, and before joining Deutsche Bank (Cayman) Limited in December 2007, she held the position of Deputy Chief Financial Officer at an Offshore Private Bank in Cayman, with financial reporting responsibility for a range of structured investment and derivative products.

In addition, she has spent time in retail banking in a number of managerial roles, in finance, corporate credit and mutual fund administration.

Janet Hislop, Chief Country Officer, Deutsche Bank (Cayman) Ltd, commented on the appointment this week, announcing that:

“I am delighted to welcome Tanya to a senior position at Deutsche Bank in Cayman. This is our 25th anniversary year of being in Cayman and an exciting time in the Bank’s history. Having recently been appointed Chief Country Officer myself, I look forward to working with Tanya to take the Bank forward into a new era.”
