The negotiations for an agreement between Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income were concluded successfully in Nicosia recently.
The Cypriot government said that the agreement will contribute greatly to boosting trade and economic relations between the two states, and encourage UAE firms to increase investment in Cyprus.
The agreement was initialled in June 2010 and according to the Cypriot government "negotiations were held in a friendly atmosphere and in a climate of perfect cooperation."
