Credit Suisse Private Banking (CSPB), part of the Swiss financial giant Credit Suisse, launched a new service last week - MyCSPB - which enables Internet users to configure their own interactive financial web page.
Available at www.cspb.com, the service gives clients their own Internet bank which they can customise to meet their personal requirements. It brings together information, advice and banking servcies, and the web page contains links which permit users to carry out transactions via DirectNet.
MyCSPB users are offered the choice of three basic profiles (Standard, News and Trading) which they can adapt to suit their own needs. This is done by choosing from a range of modules offered by Credit Suisse Private Banking, including market information, a portfolio overview, charts, Reuters news and links. A personal notepad and diary can also be included in MyCSPB and the modules contain all the necessary links to any additional information required.
DirectNet customers also have links enabling them to carry out all their banking business, and by registering for Investors' Circle, clients of CSPB can access additional features, namely a stock tracker, research analysis, real-time quotes from the Swiss Exchange, technical research and a section called Experts' Choice.
A statement from CSPB said: 'Internet banking is a key part of Credit Suisse Private Bankings multi-channel strategy. Its online services complement the personal advice it provides for its clients and are a valuable addition to its product range. With MyCSPB, Credit Suisse Private Banking is not just creating another Internet broker, but is bundling traditional private banking, state-of-the-art technology and new advisory services in one place.'
