International offshore law firm, Conyers Dill & Pearman will today host the firm's second annual offshore law seminar in London.
The focus of the free seminar will be on offshore investment funds. The regulatory environment for, and legal complexities of investment fund structures in jurisdictions such as Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, and the Cayman Islands will be discussed, and the laws as they relate to fund structures in the various offshore centres will be compared and contrasted.
According to a statement released earlier this week by CD&P with regard to the seminar, which also marks the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the firm's London office, the evening will be hosted by UK partner, Martin Lane, and associates, Christopher Johnson-Gilbert and Kieran Loughran. However, representatives from the firm's Cayman and BVI offices will also be attending.
