International offshore law firm, Conyers Dill and Pearman is to expand its global presence into Dubai, it has emerged.
In a statement published last week, CD&P revealed that the official opening of its DIFC-based branch is set to take place in July of this year.
Speaking with regard to the planned launch, CD&P Chairman, John Collis explained that:
"Dubai has positioned itself as the financial service centre for the region...We have seen a steady development in interest in our jurisdictions from sophisticated organisations that have a presence in the Middle East."
"By establishing a physical presence in Dubai we are positioning ourselves to be able to offer those organisations timely support and advice on each of the jurisdictions of Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands."
