Tax revenues in Colombia have risen 8.3% on last year's figures for the January-April period, it has been announced.
According to the figures, around COP23.6 trillion (USD10.31bn) worth of tax revenues were collected this year; COP19.2 trillion (USD8.6bn) of which came directly from domestic tax revenues.
However, despite the increase, the country's tax authority has revealed that it still fall slightly short of the COP24 trillion (USD10.49bn) target it had set for the four-month period.
