Sailing heroes Alex Thomson and Mike Golding OBE joined Dame Ellen MacArthur on Friday to officially open the Collins Stewart London Boat Show.
The Collins Stewart London Boat Show has undergone a major revamp for 2007 and this year celebrates the UK's heritage as an island nation, featuring everything from seafaring skills through to boat design and coastal life.
The Collins Stewart London Boat Show is taking place between 5-14 January 2007 at ExCeL London.
The ten-day event is playing host to the largest and most varied collection of boats in the UK, and is reported to be attracting an interesting and exciting array of boating personalities and marine experts.
Show visitors can explore hundreds of different world-class makes and models of boats from multimillion-pound motor-cruisers to one-man lasers and inflatable RIBS, and everything in between.
Additionally, experts from across the industry are on hand to offer tips and advice on a multitude of boating related topics.
