Chase Fleming Asset Management has announced plans to merge its Luxembourg-based Chase funds and Hong Kong unit trusts into its range of Fleming funds following its recent merger.
The Chase Vista funds include a European equities fund, US mid-cap, large-cap and concentrated funds, Japanese equity, a global bond fund, a US government securities fund and an emerging markets income fund.
In addition 19 Hong Kong trusts, worth around US$1billion from the South East Asia region, are set to be merged into the same fund. The range includes not only broad geographical equity funds but a series of country-specific funds such as the Singapore fund or Taiwan fund.
Assets totalling around US$1.4bn will be added to equivalent investment vehicles within the Fleming funds products on 16 March
