The Chief Minister of Gibraltar, Peter Caruana, last Friday traveled to London where he met with a succession of government representatives to discuss the all important issues surrounding the jurisdiction's tax reform proposals.
On Friday, the Chief Minister met with senior officials at the FCO (Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Treasury, DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) and Cabinet Office in relation to the EU Commission’s State Aid enquiry into Gibraltar’s proposed tax reforms and to discuss a joint strategy in response to the expected adverse decision.
Meanwhile, today, the Chief Minister is due to conduct various interviews with the UK Press, and will meet new Conservative Party leader Michael Howard
