Cable & Wireless (C&W) Bermuda launched this week a service called SoHoConnect, through which users can connect to the Internet quickly and relatively cheaply. C&W described SoHoConnect as a 'dial-up Internet service designed to provide small, medium and home-based businesses with a fast, reliable and cost effective way of connecting to the Internet, 24 hours a day.'
Cable & Wireless spokesperson Charmaine Burgess said in a press release: 'SoHoConnect is the most cost-effective Internet service in Bermuda. We are the first to offer unlimited access in both Bermuda and the Caribbean region.'
Potential users can sign up to SoHoConnect online and settle their bill via credit card, cash or cheque. Three Internet packages are on offer: SoHoConnect 30, SoHoConnect 50 and SoHoConnect Unlimited, their names illustrating how many hours access are permitted under each package. Each package also includes up to three free e-mail accounts as well as 24-hour technical support assistance from the company’s help desk.
