The Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) on Wednesday announced its latest communication channel: ‘CIOT News’ on Twitter.
Twitter is a free service which can be accessed via the web or on a mobile phone.
It allows an individual or organisation to send a brief message to all those who have signed up to follow their chosen 'Twitter'.
‘CIOT News’ will act as a news feed that alerts its subscribers to the latest press releases, submissions to Government and other relevant information about the CIOT.
Rob Ellerby, CIOT President, commented on the new development that:
“The Chartered Institute of Taxation believes that it is important for people to be able to access information about the CIOT in whichever way they choose. We have always striven to be open and accessible and ‘CIOT News’ is part of this.”
