Bermuda-based trustee and fiduciary company, Harrington Trust Ltd., has extended its services by launching an informative online guide to trust funds on the Island.
The new website, www.htl.bm, says that Harrington is owned by a partner of major Bermudian law firm Appleby, Spurling & Kempe. Incorporated as a trust company in Bermuda in 1956, Harrington has established professional relationships with many of the world's leading banks, investment advisors and custodians.
Among the information to be found on the new site is advice on the regulations and legislation governing trust companies in Bermuda. The company serves corporate as well as individual clients in such areas as charitable trusts, pension and employee schemes, executorship, trust protectorship and escrow services.
The new site is one of several initiatives designed by the new Managing Director, John Harper, who says: 'Its always difficult to imagine how a whole lot of unrelated and jumbled ideas can be turned into an informative, user-friendly, and attractive web site, and I am sure as time goes by, we will want to make some adjustments and improvements. However, at this moment in time, I am absolutely delighted with the finished article. All I need now is thousands of visitors to the site!'
