Tyco among Top Companies in Sales, Profits and Shareholder Return

Tyco International Ltd, a diversified manufacturing and service
company based in Bermuda, has been named among The BusinessWeek
50, an index of companies who have achieved outstanding growth
in sales, profits and return to shareholders.
The March 27, 2000 issue of BusinessWeek, the "BusinessWeek 50" names the highest-performing companies of the S&P 500. According to BusinessWeek, the publication ranked all 500 companies using eight criteria for financial success to evaluate growth in sales, profits and return to shareholders. Tyco International was named the 23rd top overall performer among the S&P 500.
Tyco International is the worlds largest manufacturer and servicer of electrical and electronic components and undersea telecommunications systems, the worlds largest manufacturer, installer, and provider of fire protection systems and electronic security services, has strong leadership positions in disposable medical products, plastics and adhesives, and is the largest manufacturer of flow control valves. The Company operates in more than 80 countries around the world and had fiscal 1999 revenues in excess of $22 billion.
