In an effort to foster cooperation and promote investment with regional partners and Brazilian counterparts, the Belize Trade and Investment Development Service (BELTRAIDE) is sending a delegation to San Salvador for the II SICA-Brazil Business Forum to be held on Thursday.
The meeting will take place in parallel with the Summit of Heads of Government of Brazil and Central America.
Elias Antonio Saca, President of El Salvador, and the Ambassador of Brazil to Belize, Roberto Pires Coutinho will be in attendance, as well as businessmen from Brazil and other Central American countries.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to dialogue and network with individuals from various industries, particularly ethanol, bio-fuels, textiles, shoes, and infrastructure.
Brazilian businessmen will also be interested in discussing joint ventures aiming at the North American market.
BELTRAIDE says it continues to actively participate in the economic development of Belize through trade and investment promotion, marketing, entrepreneurial development, and policy recommendation.
