Barbados Minister of International Business Reginald Farley held a breakfast briefing for the offshore sector last week and urged his audience to join with the Government in fighting off the danger that the OECD would label Barbados as a 'tax haven'.

'Barbados is a clean jurisdiction', he said, 'without shell companies or less-than-active enterprises, without secrecy laws, but with a smaller, more reputable client base than many other jurisdictions'.
