Bank of America Investment Services Inc, the retail brokerage affiliate of Bank of America Corporation, announced this week the introduction of a new Internet-based investment planning service, developed for Banc of America Investment Services by netDecide Corporation, a leading US provider of wealth management solutions.
Beginning this month, Banc of America Investment Services clients meeting minimum investment requirements can take advantage of "Perspectives on Planning" free of charge. Unlike traditional investment planning tools, "Perspectives on Planning" provides investors with an integrated view of their financial decisions and a comprehensive set of applications to proactively manage their finances.
Richard Downen, president of Banc of America Investment Services, said of the new service: '"Perspectives on Planning" is a key tool we will use to solidify our position as a provider of value-added advice and guidance. With this Web-based resource, our investment consultants will be able to work with their clients like never before to develop comprehensive, yet flexible, personal wealth management strategies."
"Perspectives on Planning" can produce in-depth reports with individually tailored strategies for meeting specific investment goals, such as retirement and education planning. Clients will be able to use "Perspectives on Planning" in collaboration with their investment consultants for cash flow analysis, insurance review, and identification of estate and tax planning issues. Mr Downen said: 'We want to be client focused, not product focused. "Perspectives on Planning" will help us do what's right for the client, leading to longer, value-oriented relationships.'
