The Commonwealth of The Bahamas has signed an agreement for the exchange of information on tax matters with Argentina.
The agreement is the seventh concluded by the government of the Bahamas, and the fourth with a member of the G-20 which incorporates the accepted international standards in respect of transparency and effective information exchange in tax matters.
A day earlier, the Argentine Republic had signed a bilateral trade agreement with Russia which included exchange of information on trade matters, and Argentina also intends to initial a tax information exchange accord with San Marino this month.
