Anguilla's financial services sector has activated a three-pronged communications approach to become more accessible to its existing customers and potential clients.

The Government of Anguilla's Financial Services Department and Anguilla Financial Services Association (AFSA) has relaunched its website, produced a new publication entitled Anguilla: Financial Services News, and updated its financial services brochure. All these measures are in addition to its heavily-publicised digital company registration system, Anguilla's Commercial On-Line Registration Network (ACORN), which enables companies to be registered in Anguilla from anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The process takes a mere three to five minutes.

The revamped website, www.anguillaoffshore.com, provides details about ACORN and Anguilla's legislative framework, as well as the latest news and archived stories. Anguilla: Financial Services News will be produced quarterly and will feature the latest news, features on key industry players and educational pieces for practitioners. The newsletter is available both digitally and in hard copy from Government of Anguilla offices.

Anguilla's Minister for Finance, Economic Development, Investment and Commerce, Victor Banks, commented: 'To communicate this message and others about the good work being done in Anguilla we have taken our web site into the 21st Century as well as created a regular update via Anguilla: Financial Services News'.

Alex Richardson, AFSA President, added: 'Anguilla's position as an emerging centre can offer global business a specialist level of service. These developments make Anguilla even more accessible to existing and potential global clients.'
