The Channel Islands jurisdiction of Alderney, which has a thriving e-gaming sector, will be well represented at the coming ICEi exhibition during the week of 22nd January at Earls Court in London.
Apart from the Government’s own stand their presence has been boosted by local telecoms suppliers, Cable and Wireless, Itex and Newtel Solutions all of whom play an important role in hosting and providing connectivity for Alderney’s burgeoning eGambling industry. Also taking stand space at the show are leading local law and accounting / trust firms Carey Olsen, Ozannes and Kensington Corporation, who between them represent most of Alderney’s licensees.
Alderney’s Head of eCommerce Development, Robin Le Prevost remarked; ‘We have been aiming to do this for some time and whilst we had some of the team in Barcelona last autumn during the EIG exhibition, this is the first time we have been able to take major stand space in co-operation like this and it is very exciting’. He continued ‘We have a lot to say about the unique capabilities of Alderney in terms of why it is the fastest growing Tier 1 jurisdiction and we have many new developments to talk about. We are seeing a lot of interest in Alderney and the team recognises that we all have a part to play in building this very important sector in our economy’.
Taking four adjacent stands (Stand No 5320) in the special section reserved for interactive gambling, the Alderney team is happy to pre-arrange meetings with interested parties and can be contacted by e-mail info@AlderneyGambling.com or telephone +44 (0) 0207 9938 564.
