A series of informal meetings is taking place in the Isle of Man between the association of Corporate Service Providers and members of Tynwald in order to try to improve the lines of communication between the finance industry and the parliament.
The meetings are proving valuable opportunities for both sides to achieve a clearer understanding of what can be planned for the future to assist the Isle of Man and the finance industry as a whole", observed ACSP executive officer, Marie Lambden, according to Newsmann.
"One issue raised by the ACSP is the current anomalous situation where government provides financial support for training in the industry sector but not the finance sector - an issue the association will be pursuing vigorously with other government departments," Ms Lambden added.
