Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr Ralph Gonsalves, has headed a four-member delegation to the 29th meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of Caricom, which took place in Antigua and Barbuda between 1st-4th July.
The delegation also included Ambassador Ellsworth John, Head of the Regional Integration and Diaspora Unit in the Prime Minister’s Office, Tourism Minister Hon. Glen Beache, and Government Senator, Saboto Caeser.
Among the issues discussed was the Caricom Development Fund (CDF) which is expected to become operational in coming months.
Caricom governments are expected to sign an agreement on the structural and technical details of the Fund, which will be confirmed at a later date.
