Posting Guidelines

Tax-News.com provides a platform for readers to comment on news stories and other content published on it's website. Tax-News.com's aim is to ensure this platform is inclusive and safe for all users.

We expect all users to abide by the following simple guidelines:

• We welcome debate, but personal attacks (on authors, other users or individuals), persistent trolling and mindless abuse will not be tolerated.
• We acknowledge criticism of the stories we publish, but will not allow persistent misrepresentation of Tax-News.com and its journalists to be published. For the sake of robust debate, we will distinguish between constructive, focused argument and smear tactics.
• We understand that people often feel strongly about issues, but we will consider removing any content that others might find offensive. Please respect other people's views and beliefs and consider your impact on others when making your contribution.
• We will not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia or other forms of discrimination.
• We will remove any content that may put us in legal jeopardy, such as libelous or defamatory postings, or any material posted in breach of copyright laws.
• We will remove any posts that are obviously commercial or considered by us to be spam.
• Please keep postings relevant. We know that some conversations can be wide-ranging, but if you post something which is unrelated to the original topic then it may be removed. Users who persistently ignore our guidelines or terms and conditions will have their posting privileges withdrawn.
