Swiss private bank Bank Sarasin & Co has launched a new website to provide what it calls E-Services. The new Internet resource for clients is available at www.sarasinlink.ch.

According to Bank Sarasin, clients are now able to enjoy the following:

  • Receive round-the-clock information on their portfolio, general stock market information and

  • Sarasin's own company and market research publications;

  • Tailor the navigation system to their individual requirements by setting up a personal profile;

  • Define alerts to ensure they are automatically notified about important developments in their portfolio, new research publications or market trends;

  • Enjoy interactive communication with their client advisor.

The bank said that its two priorities in designing the new E-Services site were user friendliness and security. In a statement, Bank Sarasin said: 'We have employed the most advanced technological features available to ensure the maximum level of security possible and meet our usual exacting standards as a private bank.'

The statement concluded: 'Our goal is to exploit the technical possibilities offered by the Internet to improve our customer service through the combination of personal support and convenient, secure E-Services. We are convinced this is the best way to cater for the demands of our forward-looking clientele and at the same time further enhance the quality of our "Personalized Private Banking"'.
