How eArchiving works

Business service providers or third parties (Application Service Providers) offer highly secure file storage solutions that can be accessed by authorized users over the Internet. Instead of physically sending a document (e.g. a draft of a contract) one party stores the contract in a digital format (e.g. as Word document) on a secure file server where from it can be accessed by the authorized other party over the Internet. Changes can be made at any time without the need of sending or faxing the document forth and back. Documents once stored will remain on the secure file server (unless deleted) so that it can be accessed at a later point of time.

Paperless Office and information access: eArchiving solutions allow to store and retrieve digital files at any time, from anywhere and to share them with other parties with clearly defined access rights. For example: a corporate service provider can archive most of its information for clients onto an eArchiving solution and allow its clients to access their own documents.
