The Channel Island law firm has been named ACQ (Acquisition) Finance Magazine’s Offshore Legal Advisory Firm of the Year.

Honouring the top deal makers in the global mergers and acquisition market, the awards are presented in 40 categories and represent those firms which are deemed to have excelled in the private equity and corporate finance world.

Carey Olsen has been involved in a number of high profile deals in recent months, including advising SandpiperCI on its landmark public takeover of CI Traders, and acting on a number of high profile matters including numerous firsts, especially in the funds and trusts arenas.

The ACQ Finance award comes a month after Carey Olsen was named Offshore Law Firm of the Year at the inaugural Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence in Barcelona.
